Hey you guys,
I'm so very sorry to keep you all in the dark. The minders are as we speak working on a brand new record, and as one of you very correctly observed, this will be our third full length release. I'm very pleased to report that the record will be longer than anything that we have ever put out. We have a variety of guests on this collection of recordings. The album was initially begun with the wizardry of Mr Robert Schneider, the reigning patriarch of the Elephant six Kingdom. Robert and I had a wonderfull time working together, and we came up with some great sounds. in addition to Robert, we recruited Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy to play guitar on a track, and a new face on the bass, Zach of "The Kingdom". We did most of the tracking in our old rocksauna studio and also did a little work with Larry Crane (of TapeOp fame) at his jackpot studio. Rebecca and I have been busy with moving and constructing our new studio and studying and travelling and writing more songs that we keep wanting to record. I will keep you guys posted as to when this will come out. We believe it will be finished in about another month and should be out some time next year on Future Farmer. Questions are very welcome.
I think it is time to be more involved and let everyone know what's been going on.
all the best

Great way to start off the week. Just this last year I've come to believe that Hooray for Tuesday may be one of the greatest all time albums. I'm definitely looking forward to more Minders in 2006.

Martyn - I am an old friend from the past. I googled and found you here. I am glad you are doing well. When will you come back to Denver? I would love to see you. Do you still have the VW Van?

its been quite a while since we last heard from Martyn, or any of the minders for that matter. I'm wondering how the progress on the new album is going.
