I don't know if anyone else has posted about this or not, but Will Schaff (okkervil river, GYBE! artwork) made a little picture book based on In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. It's pretty cool.

It's not a bad interpretation and everything, however I don't really like to associate it with the album.
No offense to this artist!
I just imagine it a different way and it means alot more to me than those images.
I like his artwork on GY!BE albums though, he's fantastic.

This link is dead and I'm sad about that. Does anybody happen to have these images saved or know where else they can be found?

HERE (http://flickr.com/photos/samsa1973/sets/1290574/)'s the link directly to Will's site, where it shows the book. It's only $10, and he prints each one directly from the original drawings. I have one.

Buy it! It's available. He makes them fresh. Support artists!!!!
Check out the rest of his site, too. Main link is HERE (http://flickr.com/photos/samsa1973). He's my favorite artist right now. He does so much more than just Okkervil River album covers.
