There are a group of us here in Southern Ontario who adore Essex Green and were hoping for a Toronto date. I just checked out the Essex Green website and I noticed there arent any canadian dates for this coming September tour. When I spoke to Sasha on their May tour she mentioned coming back to Toronto for the September tour.
I was so disappointed, I decided to email their booking agent to see if there was a chance they might still be booking dates. I even mentioned coming to Buffalo. But their agent replyed to my request saying, "fraid not. the immigration fee is kind of a strong deterrent for going to canada if you are a smaller band."

So there you have it.

I'm wondering if enough of us ask, if they'd considder coming to Canada in the future. Like, near future. hehe

They came to Montreal just a little while ago; they were opening for Johnny Marr. I wanted to go, I really did, but I just couldn't afford to pay for the ticket.

canada is such a useless place to live.

atleast you kids are in toronto or montreal... it seems bands go there quite often, unlike the sonic wasteland of calgary.... im really bitter about this! grrr!

ive never seen an e6 band live, and it hurts. i must do something about this.
