The Pixies

I was too young to think they were cool when they first hit the scene.

Its unfortunate for me, because now I have another great band that I love and that I must buy everything Pixies. My bank account will surely suffer.

So many good songs... I would love to have seen them live in their heyday.

Pixies are my #2 favorite band of all time to Neutral Milk Hotel. They put out three of the best albums of the past 20 years.

I think that they are underrated. Everyone knows Nirvana, but not the Pixies. I saw them live in june and they put on a good show. Surfer Rosa and Doolittle are some of the best albums ever made.

The Pixies are one of those fantastic bands that are both underrated and overrated at the same time (all NMH style, yo!) Their fans are super hardcore about them and say that they helped save music. Those who don't much care for them refuse to realize that they had a huge impact.
