i remember two people actually got up and left during california demise at the minneapolis show. unbelievable. age of the sun is definitely one of my favorite albums of all time. i'm also baffled how people don't appreciate green imagination. i really think everybody is missing out on something there. but yeah, the lack of attention to tsf is what got me to start posting on this forum in the first place. whenever i get on i check the sunshine fix section first to see if there's any action. maybe we should all meet here once a week.

Yeah, hypecity, Spiraling World sounds really good if you shuffle it with OTC Singles and Beyond. Age of the Sun is my fav, though. I think it's brilliant. I haven't heard The Future History of a Sunshine Fix ep yet.

The e.p. is excellent, in my opinion - each song covers a different aspect of their sound - there's even some breakbeats. :)
I think it was kind of partly Bill seeing how far he could go with the Sunshine Fix's sound, before settling into the ol' Age of the Sun groove. Vastly underrated.
Time to overrate them!
Also, don't the other members of the band look a little... crusty?

haha. i guess i don't know exactly what you mean by crusty but i would tend to agree anyway. there's that one guy with the long heavy metal hair (don't think i saw him on tour though) and the old codger who was playing with them on the last tour. what's the band that played at pop fest with i believe two of the guys from sunshine fix? i'd be interested in hearing some of that.
edit: the band in question is fabulous bird. anyone familiar?

That guy with the long hair in TSF is Kevin Sweeney, rock guitar god.
Bill Doss really is a musical genius, and a swell guy. Hope we hear more solo stuff soon, though ANY collaborative stuff would be fantastic, too (especially The Observatory music) :)
