It probably was, just was edited out of the song.

Quite honestly, I'd just thank him. He's answered enough of my questions.

How do you spell "Snuffeluffegus?" You know that creepy wooly mammoth thing on sesame street? I know I spelled his name wrong. Fuck, that's two questions. Anyway, Jeff is the only one who can answer such questions. And how does Jeff answer questions? By writing kick-ass songs, that's how.

^ I was just talking about Snuffelufagus before...
I'd probably ask him to elaborate on some of the comments he made in interviews, especially those about his mind being a filmstrip, since it's something I've often thought myself... or something like "would you like a drink or some fritos?"

i'd probably ask him "how are you?" why do people think that having a connection with music means that the music (and those who create it) have a connection with them?? a small problem with society, in my weird opinion.

Yeah exactly, that's the thing. If I recorded something personal, and people liked and just came up to me like they knew me I'd be a little freaked out.
I'd probably tell I like his music and his radio show, and ask if he wanted to swap some mixtapes.

But nobody's asking creepy or invasive questions, even remotely like " 'what's semen stains the mountaintops' mean?"

I don't think you understand what I meant..
It's that people sort of think they have a personal connection with someone because they have a connection with something they did and sort of freak that person out a bit.
I never pointed out who does that, or even if I thought some questions in this thread would qualify as that. Just sayin'.

yea, i wasn't saying anyone was doing that here, but that is generally the case. and i certainly think it's something jeff has experienced.

i'm assuming your speaking in a metaphorical his music has given you something bright and glowing that has helped you go on sense and not a literal, you've spoken to him in real life and he's answered you kind of way.
