i'm missing 2 songs from the early 4-track recordings.

5) Dustin Hoffman Does Not Resist...
and
11) Dustin Hoffman Offers Lame...

if anyone is willing to send me these songs, that would be great.

thanks

i had a job. then i lost it. then i ordered early 4-track from some store online. then it never arrived, and the store refuses to refund my money.

so i figure since i paid for it, i should have it. and if it ever shows up, then i get to see the liner notes.

heh i have a job and the money is going to college, i have the album and it is downloaded as well, but i do plan on actually buying it within the next month.. so idk whatever. there's no need to be rude to people (for example.. this thread: http://www.e6townhall.com/viewthread.php?tid=4091 )

Hmmmm... So you are saying you should commit music piracy because some online store ripped you off? You shoudd get your money back from the store instead of ripping off Of Montreal too. I suggest you go to small claims court instead of making Kevin Barnes very sad. :(

Yeah, Kevin seems like the kind of guy who would be really sad if someone cheated him out of the $1 or so he'd see rather than buying the album twice or going to court over it.

It isn't that.... It's more standing up for your rigths as a consumer! Setting an example for other compnaies that don't send CDs!

if i get the money back, i'll delete the songs from my computer. i just wanted to have it until i figure out what's gonna happen. it looks like they're gonna send it now. they had supply issues.

so i should have it in a few weeks.

i would never plan to make kevin sad

hey wasn;t there an article where kevin said something about people downloading om music from soulseek? i don't remember exactly what it was though

cpanighetti

was he pissed about it, or happy that the word was getting out there?

i think he was saying he thought it would've been cool to originally have the 'big oil..' (tour cd version) tracks spread out for free on something like soulseek, rather than turn into an 'official' cd release like it did.

i can't speak for him about soulseek/downloading in general though.

dottie came on the board and was a little upset sounding about sunlandic twins being on soulseek before the release. maybe that is what you are thinking of
