this is a song i wrote about the world
Beauty is not something we've
seen before
supposedly belongs to the skin
but i am unsure
beauty is not something we can see
so look into you and i'll look into me
although in this hole it is dark and cold
somewhere a light called a soul is shining
and your hands shake as
your shaking their hands
until it all breaks
you run as fast as you can
and hide beneath your stiff believs
convincing yourself friendships not what u need
but what you want and need
are two different things
like all you want and
what you recieve
but ill tell you exactly what the world needs
its to find that our lives are worth living
because i am what i am and
that's all i can be
i wish that you all would quit trying
to change me
you've forced the notion into my head
that everyone believes im better off dead
so ill go to sleep in hopes youll care more
your words will be tender when im on the floor
and i dont minch much anyway
living here has been a bore
boring preachers preach life
and what it is for
but i have not lived yet
so i am unsure
