my good friend bob just finished his 15th album. i've known him since the 5th grade and i'm going to his wedding back home in new york this september. he is such a fun and kind person that pretty much only gives when it comes to life and music. all 15 of his albums are available on his record label website for you to listen to and explore. he doesn't do a whole lot to seek out new listeners, so the least i can do is tell a few people about it... his newer stuff might sound more indie-pop, possibly like of montreal, the shins, new pornographers, built to spill...while his older stuff could sound more like ween, the residents, beck, polyphonic spree, butthole surfers, the beatles, blur. the weird thing is that most of the things that he might sound like he hadn't heard till after he made those particular albums. he doesn't listen to a lot of new music and grew up on 80's rap music and his classical piano lessons. on a side note, you can also check out the other bands featured on the side - especially the guppies (bob and my our friend ryan) and bandito (bob and myself).

hopefully some of you will get some enjoyment out of this.
