I got 'The commercial album' and am slightly intrigued. I think it sounds like your nightmares after you've been dumped.

Has anyone heard any other residents stuff? whats it like?

the residents are amazing. personally i like the earlier stuff the most
the best albums are "Meet The Residents", "Baby Sex", "Santa Dog", "Not Available", and "Duck Stab"....buch each album is great and each album is different. no two albums sound alike

I remember visiting a friend one night while extremely high on acid and she just happened to be playing the Commercial Album...I thought I was in hell. But in a good way...

Their videos are great, too...scary stuff.

my two favorites are meet the residents and eskimo-which is there most ambitious recording in my opinion...very difficult musique concrete-but a very rewarding listen!

mine is eskimo. to be honest, the eyes in tuxedos were the reason i first decided to listen to the residents.
