I play once a week with my band, and I do a lot of stuff through a delay pedal; a Boss DD-3 to be precise. We play some songs and get good sounds and record on MiniDisc for future reference.
However, when it comes to trying to get the same delay when we play the songs the following week it's really frustrating...
Can anyone recommend a pedal where I can set presets for the delays I use a lot? I've heard mixed things about the Line 6 Delay Modeler, but it looks quite nifty.

yeah that delay pedal is great, but you just constantly turn knobs, so the setting is never exactly the same.

it sounds like you could use a line six delay. they're designed to store 4 user preset delay sounds, they have a tap tempo function so you can modify your delay time to the song you are playing in real time with your foot, and a they offer ( for extra$$) an "expression" pedal which can sweep delay times, pile on feedback, and other fun tricks. as far as versatility and reliability go, they rule. $250 is a lot for a pedal, though, and i think it's $40 for the expression.

Hey, thanks Derek - much appreciated. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a second-hand one of those as it definitely sounds like what I'm looking for.

Anyone else had any experience of the Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler? I've just been offered a second-hand one for a decent price, so I may have to splash out...
