hey everybody,

i haven't heard anything about a distribution of the new music tapes album, and quite frankly its been pretty dern hard just finding any info about it...until last night! if you check out http://www.wnyc.org/shows/spinning/episodes/01032003 you'll find a radio broadcast with a few short stories, some tunes from the live loose fur shows back in december, and a full playthrough of the 2nd imaginary symphony. and let me tell you, it is absolutely magical. i couldn't stop smiling the whole i was listening to it. julian, you have truly outdone urself this time! i can't wait to see the grandmaphone come to life!

This CD has never been officially released but is available on CD-R from Julien. When you order it he makes a very personilzed album for you. Mine came with a handdrawn illustration that said, "A Story Album for Chris." He puts a lot of work into it.

I can't find the email address right now so perhaps someone else can post the address where it can be ordered from.

the wnyc show was great -- not least becuase it had two tales from Ivor Cutler, Scotland's Living Treasure.

What's the availability of the 2nd Symphony? Is it still available from Julian, and if so, for how much and at what address?

the download should start if you click dl this torrent.
don't really know how it works for mac, but i guess it would be the same as on a pc. i made the torrent with BitComet (pc), maby thats why it's not working.

It best thing about broadband isn't its speed. Is that it doesn't disconnect.

the buffer underrun would be something you did while converting from the streaming audio to mp3. made sure there are no skips or jumps in the audio.

and I can tell you're new to torrents. you need to see the torrent, which means stay connected and upload because no one else has the file yet. Just leave it up for 2-3 days so everyone can grab a copy

i didn't find anny problem with the audio when i listned to it.
now it doesn't seem to uppload anything. maby upgrading bitcomet could help? coulden't find anny answers on bitcomet forum either. maby i could post the file somwere else? i try again tomorrow, but now i realy must sleep, it,s 2.20 am here. i won't log off, but dowloading doesen't seems to work..

Don't worry about not doing the torrent, you did the hard part by converting from Real Audio to MP3. I'm downloading from you via soulseek as we speak and will be seeding your torrent once I have the whole file.

I registered at thepiratebay.org
I downloaded the ABC client (here (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/pingpong-abc/ABC-win32-v3.0.1b.exe?download)).
I downloaded the torrent from here: http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3344283 (save link as)
Then I opened up ABC, clicked File > Add Torrent > From File and selected the torrent and it started downloading.

This seems to be working for me so far.

i'm not intending to dampen any spirits, but i don't think it'll be released next month, at least not on cd. it might however be available for free download off the internet at that point, which is one way julian wanted to share it. but in terms of the record record it will still be a bit longer, because it hasn't been mastered yet, and needs artwork.

rest assured it will be one of your best friends in the whole world once it reaches you! i've heard a few of the songs from it and am already very very much in awe of its fullblown arrival into the world, yes.
