Os Mutantes?
from brazil late 60's early 70's.
3 great discs on Omplatten, I great on Universal.
I recommend "Os Mutantes" and "Tecnicolor" first.
Faiz
why does it have to be "foreign"? you should definately check out comets on fire.

the reason why it has to be foreign because that is the stuff you rarely hear about. if i just said hey, i want to hear psych pop music i would most likely end up with bands that i already knew about, i.e. comets on fire. its just that its a big world with not alot of coverage and i was wondering what else was out there.

I would hardly call Comets on Fire psych-pop. They aren't very poppish, especially their earlier stuff. Their self-titled is quite heavy, really.
