I saw Architecture in Helsinki live on Friday night and they were stupendously good - brilliant fun.

Anyone know what they're like on record?

Often times stupendously good brilliant fun.

Sometimes kind of boring. I like "In Case We Die" though.

I would recomend the new one. Fingers Crossed is also fun but I find it to get a bit dull at some points.

I know what you mean about their live show. I believe it is an eight person band and they all seemed like they were having a lot of fun. I saw them open for Dressy Bessy and the Starlight mints last year and I am hoping they will come again this year.

"in case we die" is something i got recently and it is sort of good, but i've only listened like, twice. "wishbone" and "it'5" make me happy with their antipodean singing and shouting and stuff.

I think I like Fingers Crossed more than In Case We Die. But I think both are really good. In Case We Die is more "fun".

Aren't they in Australia??

Do you live in Aus?
If yes, ME TOO!

I LOVE AIH (only just recently got into them...not even a week ago!) and they are playing a show in Annadale this week. I was gonna go but it's over 18's only

In Case WE Die is the best album of the year (excluding the obvious and Picaresque...duh)

:(

Yes, I am in Australia. I'm English but I moved to Melbourne with my Australian wife a short while ago. Melbourne is an absolutely awesome city for gigs and general musical shenanigans. Although I would like it if more Elephant 6 folk could make it out here...
