i cant believe its over, i wanted it to last all night. as far as their new stuff, if there was any doubt before, it has been washed away because they rocked live. that was the first show i've been to where i loved every band.
St. Thomas was very pleasent, a nice starter to a great night. i will deffinatly be looking them up on amazon. Dr. Dog and Hail Social were amazing. their energy on stage was addictive. that was the first time ive seen them and it certainly wont be the last.
Of Montreal by far exceeded my expectations live. while this was my first show of theirs and i wanted to hear some of their earlier stuff i was extreamly impressed on how well they played the new stuff. each song was packed with so much emotion and energy. dancing was deffinatly a must at this show. amazing, thats all i can say. good job guys!!! :D

Hell yeah i was at this show! I was actually a little tipsy when i first walked in (thanks to my friend's homebrew party in west philly), but I think that just had the bonus side effect of loosening me up enough to be unable to resist dancing!!! This was my first time ever seeing Of Montreal live, and I was not dissappointed! I was lucky enough to have heard a promo version of the Sunlandic Twins, so I was able to sing along to "Requiem" and "Wraiths" and all the other sexxxy hits off this album.
I also got to pick up the Sunlandic double LP and the new 7" single with the misfits cover!!! Oh soooo delicious.
I wrote a review of this show for the online music mag i work for if anyone is interested in reading it... http://www.mxdwn.com/editorial.php?anid=14
If anyone who was there notices any glaring mistakes, I'll remind you of the whole "me being drunk on homebrew when I got there" thing...

helllllz yeah i was totally there! there was some tall guy gyrating his shoulders in front of me the whole time but eh. I could see pretty good. and it didn't matter cause I danced my skin off the whole time. :) Unfortunately i had to leave a little early to catch the gdamn R3 back to good old Swarthmore :< but I got to see the costume change, at least. Going into the show I'd heard ONE of Montreal song, and it was "Let's Do Everything for the First Time Forever." So naturally I had no real idea of what they would sound like. And now I'm addicted! Hooray. I need to go out and cop me the whole discography.
p.s. Dr. Dog rules!
