i was kind of stuck in one spot by the stage all night but some of these turned out pretty psychedically pleasing.

i figure someone on the OM board who was at the show might be in this picture..

New Vid Clip

b&w clip of the repudiated immortals from the 4.7.05 show is now up on e6files@gmail.com. it's actually just over 10mb but it fit with almost no editing necessary. hope you like it.

for the repudated immortals are they using a drum machine?

they're using some kind of drum machine/sampler contraption on several of the songs, even replacing some songs they'd used live drums on before like disconnect the dots. jamey generally plays bass on these songs when not playing drums and he adds great backup vox a lot too.

but whereas say the flaming lips during the 'soft bulletin' era had the prerecorded live drums which was a little frustrating to me this doesn't feel any less satisfying on the drum-less songs - it feels completely live and rocking honestly.

ehh. i don't like the sound of that at all.
