so i burnt my brother some neutral milk hotel a few years ago and just burnt him age of the sun a few weeks ago. it was kind of funny because he said that tsf reminded him of nmh. the interesting part is that he had no idea that bill and jeff had grown up together and didn't even know what elephant 6 was. i never would have connected the two sounds at all, even with knowing their history, so it was kind of weird to hear an outsider place them together like that. that's all.
