anyone from MI ( or anywhere else, for that matter) going to the OM show on april 22nd? i really wanna go but the show is 18+ and i happen to be a lowly 17 year old... sadly... does anyone know if by chance the venue is really lax about the ages of those who attend or anything? anyway if you have any ideas that may help me or something i would give you a dollar... thanks much :D

its good to know im not alone :D .... hmm think if i call the venue and ask if they would let people younger than 18 in an 18+ show, i would get any results? i may just try that tomorrow....

I think that Kyle was under 18 last september at the Blind Pig, and he got in okay. Kyle?

Yeah, September's was all ages. I'll be 2 months short of 18 in April so I guess it looks like I won't be going. If any of you other minors in the same situation works anything out with Blind Pig please let me know.

i've never been to an 18+ show where they actually checked id's. just buy a ticket at ticketmaster before the show and you should be fine.

when i saw them in chicago in 2001, it was a 21+ show and my one friend was 19 so he didn't go. they didn't end up checking ID's that night. if we knew that, he would have come along.

It's unfortunate that I was not born five months earlier. I want to take my friend to see the show in Cambridge, MA on the 12th because it's her 18th birthday. It's worth a try, I guess.

why the hell is it 18+ this time but it was all ages last time. maybe if that pig wasn't so blind, they'd see that we HAVE to see of montreal. it'd be like missing metallica.
