I still have a ton of OM CDs to find... I only have Aldhils, Satanic Panic, Gay Parade and Coquelicot. The others I cannot find anywhere.

I had kept putting off getting this one and eventually it was the only one I didn't have... then it went out of print and I was very regretful that I hadn't jumped on that used copy for $7... but I just got it new for $9! Yeah! I got the last one, though. My source is tapped dry. Try eBay, folks.

The www.athensmusicmuseum.net website will have lots of out of print of montreal stuff up real soon (by the end of april). So be patient, and check there, i'll post when it's up. Mike

hhbtmike- that sounds good to me. will they be at the normal price for CDs? or the usual 30 dollars and up that i could find on gemm.com? also will this site have out of print albums from other e6 bands like handsome western states?

If you don't mind having an electronic copy, you can get it, along with other of Montreal discs and When Your Heartstring Breaks (there's your old Beulah fix), through emusic.com. It's even (gasp) legal. They offer a free trial for the first fifty songs you download, or you could just pay them.
I joined and quickly quit a few months ago.

i have all their albums, you just have to shop around. the only one i had to resort to ebay for was elephant eatery, the rest i found in either a used cd store in las vegas or i ordered them online when they came out. i just bought bedside drama on vinyl so i gave my cd to my girlfriend.

the prices on some stuff will be a bit high, like the bird who eats the rabbit's flower is $30 bucks, but that is really rare, but other stuff isn't priced way too high, also if it's athens, then it will be on there, beulah however isn't athens, so the museum won't have it. we do carry nmh, otc, black swan, of montreal, gerbisl, frosted ambassador, elf power, instruments, music tapes, sunshine fix, midget & hairs (due to will and jeff being on the single), marshmallow coast, late bp helium, summer hymns, great lakes, my first keyboard, fablefactory, circulatory system, and much more. you can get the bird who continues to eat the rabbit's flower for $10 on the of montreal website, so it isn't entirely impossible to find.

also, when is the AMM site going up?

actually my screen name is in reference to the character robin in radiohead's video for paranoid android. it was never intended to mean batman's sidekick.

also, he's just in that phone booth down the street.

the original ep was the bird who eats the rabbit's flower, the rerelease is the bird who continues to eat the rabbit's flower. it's a collector thing, but there is a difference. the original has less songs, and the artwork is slightly different. so the one you get from the of montreal site is very easy to find. mike

different mixes...
the 2nd version has overdubs...
especially on 'if i faltered slightly twice'...
i can't listen to the 2nd version...

oh okay. i was wondering about that difference of title, i was thinking maybe you just had the title wrong. nevermind then.

Newbury Comics in Cambridge, MA had some in stock. In fact they had almost every OM album, with the notable exception of The Gay Parade. Weird.
