How much do the OM set lists vary? I am going to see the band in Santa Cruz and San Francisco and I am considering driving to LA and San Diego to catch 2 more shows. Will I be getting 4 seperate set lists? Or is it likely that it will be a similar show each time. If I dont go to LA, I can go see Hot Tuna in SF, but if I wanted to really be crazy and if it would be worth it my schedule would go like this:
Start Location= San Jose, CA

May 30- OM in Santa Cruz
June 2- OM in SF
June 3- OM in LA
June 4- OM in San Diego
June 5- Hot Tuna inn Petaluma, CA

So I drive about an hour South to Santa Cruz and return for a day. Then An hour north on the 2nd and return that night to sleep. Then wake up on the 3rd and drive the 6 hours to LA and crash at a friend of a friends. Then get up on the 4th and drive to San Diego- an hour or so and sleep God knows where, maybe return to LA. And then get up on the 5th and drive the 8ish hours home and then 1.5 hours north to Hot Tuna!!!!!! I think Im gonna be sick of driving.

you might be sick of driving, but for Of Montreal its totally worth it.

Of Montreal setlists are usually the same each show of the tour, but the encore cover song may vary. Also, they are only about 50 minutes, when they SHOULD play at least 70-90 like other bands. They have enough material. The Ann Arbor show from 4/9/03 was by far the best show of the 5-6 I've seen of theirs. Awesome setlist. Something from each album. This setlist will probably be 80% new album.
