Hi, I just wanted to say that Of Montreal is one of my favorite sounds. (It is the the kind of music for me, when in those moments of solemn self-doubt, gives a wonderful rhythym that makes me feel a little more connected to everyone else.)
I'd like to encourage to Kevin to keep using that fun vocabulary of his to have terrible fun with horrible things and to keep humble so that the creative spirit will continue to 'own' him.
The bands bassist (Im sorry I just dont know band names) is amazing, keep those fingers moving dude.
The organ and percussion claps are so ecstatic- thank u!
Love those tempo changes and mood altering moments in the music.

It has been about an hour since I last posted on this website. I will remain devout and faithful to you, oh lord... ah em, er Of Montreal. im just gonna flat out say that kevin and nina are re-occuring characters in my dreams. not in the perverted way... just that of montreal has affected me so profoundly that i cant get them out of my head ever.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that Nina kidnapped my brother and I, and then let us go. But, Nina and the rest of the band continued to follow our every move. It was pretty creepy... but I cant think of anyone who I'd rather have stalk us.

but I've had an Of Montreal dream or two.
I forgot what happened.
I used to have david bowie dreams.
They weren't perverted, either.
In the dreams, he was my best friend and we would go do things that you did with your best friends when you were 12. Once we rowed a tin-foil boat down a small river, and another time, we got yelled at for horsing around in a convenience store.
I've had guns'n'roses dreams, too.

hey there's nothing freaky about dreams that sometimes have your musical heroes/characters showing up in them.

i've had some most memorable ones that included of montreal, like one where they appeared playing songs off of coquelicot dressed as spaniard conquistadors on a big wooden ship. the ship sailed down a river in this town in the clouds and dropped anchor while all of us townfolk climbed up on the rooftops of our stacked apartments and had ourselves a merry old time listening to the music and dancing around. it was quite real i tell ya ;)

That's grossly inappropriate. I think sometimes poeple forget that their musical heros are actually people. What if you came upon some thread with some guy you've never met saying someone wants to rape you? It's just weird. Stop it.

ok, creeps.
I had a dream last night that kevin was playing a show in a crackhouse . I went to it and it was just him. I thought it was a solo acoustic show, but he just got bored and put a video of "The curse of the seven jackals" (that movie he was in) in the VCR. At first, the movie was good, but then I got dumb and I fell asleep. Harnk was in my dream, too. He was kinda scary and fat and he was hitting on me.
I officially need to get a life.
