XTC / Apples In Doubt

Schneider Collaboration In Doubt Date: 23/06/03
The planned album between Andy and ‘Apples In Stereo’ man, Robert Schneider, now seems to be in doubt. To be diplomatic about it. Lets say that both parties seem to be busy with other projects at this time.

There are no plans to use any of the 30 or so proto songs as far as we know for any other purposes.

It’s a long story folks.

Don't worry about it. We are going to see some great things coming from the Apples camp in the future. I can't go into details but it will be good stuff.

All the info that Kelly mentions on the website is the same info I was talking about. But I guess she got the okay to let the cat of the bag before I did.

No problem Robert told me about these new bands a week ago but his manager told me not to mention it yet.

But we will have mp3's on the Apples site as soon as Robert finishes some up and sends them my way.

So does Robert have any plans to do anything with the Partridge collaborations? According to what you hear from the XTC camp there were around 30 songs developed between Andy and Robert, none of which seem to have much hope of seeing the light of day.

It seems sad to me that instead of finishing this possibly fantastic project they both are moving on to new ones.
