just wanted to say hey...

i`m currently in japan
with casper and the cookies
and having a wonderful time
with our friends, elekibass.

casper is playing 3 more
shows in tokyo.. shimokitazawa.

we have shows tonight and march 1st at club que
and an acoustic show at club 440 on the 28th.
i may play a few songs of my own at club 440.

b.p. will play some shows in athens
in march/april. march 12th at extra records.
and possibly april 3rd on the rooftop
of wuxtry.

of course, of montreal has huge tour soon.
we`ll be playing SXSW in march.

maybe an elf power show too.
hope so....

oh yeah... new b.p. shirts on orangetwin
website soon (if not now!)

them's some lucky japanese folk. i don't suppose you would know when the new elekibass album will be coming out, eh? can't wait for that one. and i'd ask if you are going to be with of montreal for the whole tour (namely the minneapolis show) but i suppose i can figure that out by the time you respond.

south by southwest music conference in austin texas...i'm sure it's a blast of a weekend!

is it like a thing that is televised? sort of like austin city limits?

om's playing at a 21+ venue, though. atleast troubled hubble's playing. so that begins to make up for the injusice.

SXSW is not televised. it starts on wednesday and lasts through sunday. basically the whole city turns into a music venue. everywhere you go there are bands playing. music venues, record stores, some clothing stores, some restaurants....everywhere. basically hundreds of bands come to play, and they play as many times as they can in those few days. there are music industry people and musicians a-plenty during that time.
