Elliott Smith has been doing covers of Hooray For Tuesday and Golden Street at his shows. I haven't seen or heard any of them, but I thought it was cool that he's a Minders fan.

That is very cool, I know Elliott really likes the Minders music. And the Minders toured with him a few years back (that was loads of fun).

TRIBUTE TO ELLIOTT SMITH - LINE UP UPDATE


We can now confirm that Lou Barlow of Folk Implosion/Sebadoh will be leading a tribute to his late friend Elliott Smith at ATP on Sunday November 9th.

the band will consist of
Lou Barlow (vocals)
Shon Sullivan (guitar)
Robin Peringer (bass)
Scott McPherson (drums)
Ariana Murray (keyboards)

The band will cover six tracks from Elliott's catalogue and Martyn Leaper and Rebecca Cole of The Minders (one of Elliott's favorite bands) will perform a song of theirs that he covered

Other guests are lined up to perform also but we are still awaiting details, so watch this space.......
