I got back into the Built to Spill album called "theres nothing wrong with love" I hadnt listened for about a year and a half, or so it seemed, and I love it again. Anybody else like that cd? It's kickbuttingly good.

lately i have been listening to their live album, god damn! that thing is so good, they are the best modern guitar band ever in my opinion, i can air guitar and headbang forever to the song broken chairs.

I haven't listened to Built to Spill in a while. My favourite from them though is Keep it Like a Secret. There's Nothing Wrong With Love has my favourite song by them though, "Twin Falls".

I think they're releasing an album later this year.

I think I have almost all their albums, and yes perfect from now on is great, and the live album is great, yeah broken chairs is so sweet on the live one!
The only song on their live album that I sometimes think sounds worse than the original is the plan. And keep it like a secret has some sweet songs.

Am I alone or does Beulah (at least on When Your Heartstrings Break) sound a lot like Built to Spill at times?

i have "there's nothing wrong wtih love" and i like it, but "twin falls" seems so much better than the rest of the album to me that it frustrates me. maybe i just haven't given the rest of the album enough of a chance

i love all built to spill, can't wait to see them in may, but i think doug martsch's solo album mops the floor with all of the bands albums.
