can anyone tell me a little bit about these guys. what do they sound like, best album, etc. thanks. i just got my student loans so it's cd buying season.

all over the map. you could say its claustrophobic-sounding lo-fi free jazz (a bit like Soft Machine) w/ theremins and amazing percussion

i've only heard "in a different city"-- its very good, you should get it.

is it all instrumental or are there vocals too?

no description could prepare you for Bablicon. Jeremy Barnes has a great body of work. Very interesting.

Griffin of Bablicon is here in Chicago now. He's playing in Icy Demons as well as Philly's Need New Body. He records bands over at Truckstop and has done some real stellar work.
