Yeah I heard the album and I thought uuh well it's ok. But Jenny from Rilo Kiley plays minor parts on it and I really enjoy Rilo Kiley.

It's OK, fun in the right mood but a little too... emo? at times. Dntel is extraordinary though.

yeah, pepe, Rilo Kiley is thumbs up. And as I've mentioned on here in the past, they covered "in the aeroplane over the sea" live once in 2001... and it's since been one of my life goals to find a recording of it (or even better, see them play it live).

As long as we're pimping bands related to the Postal Service then I have to give a mention to Ben's band Death Cab For Cutie. I really like their stuff and think they have some of the coolest guitar parts and melodies. And they put on a really good live show. Much energy.

Rilo rules too. I wish I knew of them when they were just a little LA band.

I keep hearing mention of the Postal Service, but never got round to looking into them properly, any particular song recommendations?

The District Sleeps Alone Tonight is quite good...it's the first track on the cd.

I enjoy the Postal Service, it puts me in a happy mood but it can bet a bit...umm..iffy at times. I haven't heard any Dntel stuff. Rilo Kiley is quite good too.you already. And umm...Death Cab for Cutie is amazing.
