a reason for the demise

hey, I'm new here, but have been a fan of OTC, as well as MNH, The Music Tapes, Circulatory system ect. for a while now. I was wondering the reason for their break up. I've searched for interveiws that would maybe give me a reason, but have had no luck.Thanks.

i think that's the question that got me scurrying over here too. i've never heard an answer, at least a definitive one. i see you're a microphones fan too; do you know why they broke up (insert winking icon here)?

i think it had something to do with bill and will wanting to work on separate projects. who knows? the olivias may see the light of day in the future... as for the microphones, i don't believe they broke up. phil and his k rec buds are playing/recording under the alias mt. eerie for the time being. keep it secret!

i suppose bill was kicked out of the band because he took a girlfriend of another members, because he is the most "otokomae" :o guy. a white otokomae.

Hey, S. You really shouldn't post trash like that. You shouldn't offhandedly accuse someone of adultery in a public forum. People might take what you're saying seriously, and you'll ruin Bill's good name.

i was just joking about the microphones thing before. what with the icon gag and all. i just thought it was a little silly seeing as how it's basically just phil and for him to break up would be comical.

Phil just changed the name to Mt. Eerie. He's put out 3 records so far, vinyl only release. And he's putting out 5 new records sometime this year. Vinyl only as well. He's been releasing them on his own record label, P.W. Elverum & Sun.
