What's the value?

Hello,
It took me over a year to compile the ten E6 vinyl releases and now I'm considering a trade. What do you guys think the value of the set should be?

i don't know. i'd say atleast $50. this post reminded me of something i saw on ebay recently:

Well, $50 is greatly under-valued but the range of approx. $10 each sounds in the ballpark. Value of approx. $90 - $150 for the lot. I'm not selling them, but have secured a trade for some other rare 7's. I'll post when the deal is completed.

I agree - I would think it's worth a lot more than $50. I'd think they'd be worth more than $10 each, but what do I know?

My rough estimations:

"Tidal Wave EP" (Apples In Stereo) - $20

"California Demise EP" (Olivia Tremor Control) - $20

"Secret Square" (Secret Square) - $5

"Come On & Hear" (The Minders) - $5

"Paper Plane" (The Minders) - $5 [you can still buy it from Tonevendor.com for $3.75, but on eBay you could probably get $5 for it]

"I Love The Summer" (The Marbles) - $5 [based on me just selling it]

"Please Hear Mr. Flight Control" (The Music Tapes) - $10 [based on me buying it awhile ago]

"Von Hemmling" (Von Hemmling) - $10

"A Small Cattle Drive In A Snow Storm" (Beulah) - $10

"The Television Tells Us" - (The Music Tapes) $10 [based on me buying it awhile ago]

so by my estimates it is $90. Could be more, probably not much less.

To me, "value" is a little different than the price you paid. Some singles you may be able to get cheaply, but others you may overpay for. Plus there is always shipping costs. That $4 single becomes $7+ very quickly. Your not going to walk into a local record shop and find any of these singles.

So that's why I approximated at $10 each. I was close and think I made a good trade. Although, I know I paid more than $120 to complete this set.

If you can find (or want to sell) a Music Tapes 7 (either one) at $10. I will take one all day long.
