i voted for nader because he released a video cassette in which he debates against action figures.

The Long Goodbye was the first Essex Green album I got, and I think its a bit more cohesive and a little more cathier album than Everything is Green. Both excellent albums though. I haven't checked out the Essex Green EP though.

everything is green is by far my favorite, although i do love the long goodbye and the ep. but a few years ago i had burned a copy of everything is green which just blew me away, however i lost that copy and have been searching ever since to find it. well, last week i had one of those amazing record store moments where i walk in looking for one album in particular (everything is green) but don't hold out much hope in finding it, and wouldn't you know it, there it is for seven dollars. pretty exciting especially since i had just bid 15 dollars for it on ebay and lost. i also found ladybug transistor's argyle heir for 4 dollars. it was a good day.

i voted for everything is green.
its sixties vibe just makes me so happy, and carballo, that is one of the most gorgeous songs i have ever heard.
i have to agree about finding everything is green for only 7 bucks is quite inspiring. i thought i was getting a fantastic deal when i ordered it off of amazon.com. someone was selling a brand new copy for only 9.98. With shipping and handling i only paid about 12 dollars. i was so estatic.

Everything Is Green is my favorite though I haven't spent nearly as much time on Long Goodbye which I just got this month (from a friend who didn't like it - sucker ;) I like the title track and Primrose the best and Sixties (does anybody else get a Roger Waters feel from the vocals to that track??)

I just picked "Mrs. Bean" from an internet jukebox at a nearby bar. It cost me a dollar, but it was so worth it to here indie-rock's best-kept-secret in a public venue.

I think this topic needs to be updated to include Cannibal Sea, which is probably my current favorite, followed by Everything Is Green.

Everything is Green is my favorite just because I think it flows well and it's very sturdy. There are no bad songs and a few fantastic ones (Mrs. Bean, Everything is Green).

Definitely 'The Long Goodbye'. The hippie thing they did on 'Everything Is Green' and the EP were cool, but 'The Long Goodbye' is one of the prettiest, most seductive records ever (along with Better Weather by The Heavy Blinkers!)...
Oh, and the new one is pretty good too...
