yeah, I can't find them anywhere. I'm looking for the lyrics to "is she fiona".

it's not really a cover. It's scott singing most of it, with mangum accenting some of the lyrics. It's neutral milk hotel performing a song that scott wrote before the geribils existed.

was it before the gerbils? because if you listen close after jeff says it's scott's song, he says "from the gerbils" or something about the gerbils at least. so at least they were in the works. what's that song off of? nmh's version that is.

i don't hear anything about the gerbils. you might be right, that's just what I was told. I could be wrong.

I got bored a little while back and transcibed the lyrics to Crayon Box. I'll probably get around to doing "Is She Fiona" and "Fluid" at some point as well.

Here is Crayon Box:

Look what you’ve done how could you go out and watch the show with out me you know that portostatic is still my favorite band am I alone or are you with me me with you whatever could you tell me just one more time I just don’t understand am I a child or just a crayon in your filthy hand look what you‘ve done how could you do it you left me behind again I feel so empty should I think that something’s wrong should I try to do a thing about it as the band plays on look what I’ve done how could I do it I left you behind this time how could I do it even though I know sebadoah is still your favorite band I’m not laughing but I thought I would be wouldn’t you be laughing at me as the band played on
