Can you believe that Le Tigre's new album is on a major label....this is just wrong...and pop?? They are playing in SF, I'll still have to go watch their show...they are the best live...its on 11-19 at the Fillmore, good times!

Has anyone heard their new record? I'm excited but somewhat apprehensive. They were in the New York Times, in an article about Rik Ocasek producing records nowadays, with a photo of Le Tigre and Rik looking very tall compared to them.

I actually just bought their new cd, it sounds like someone took Le Tigre and put them in a blender, added some Sade, and left it on.......mighty are the fallen....

Naw, I don't think they would have, but then again who would have thought they would sign with a major period....

I hate to bring this up again, but I totally saw their music video in Blockbuster.....is that crazy to anyone else? I mean it's good that JD Samson is out there, for little girls to have crushes on, but, at what point does it just become commercial?

The world might be a better place if feminist electroclash was more ubiquitous. Maybe their recent crappy music and overexposure can be a gateway for kids to learn about more cool and interesting music.

BTW, livbowl, I think your location changed--did you move across the Bay?

Ahh, it's been driving me insane. I was the biggest Le Tigre fan out there (HUGE I say), then the new album came out, i didn't like it much at alll, but a bunch of my friends do. I usually pretend to like it just to make them happy. They NEVER play the first two albums, but play the new one all the time. They disappoint me a lot. I suck:(

Totally, all of the sudden people are listening to them, and the rotten thing is, they are all playing that horrid new album, sigh.

No, I've not moved, lady, I just got drunk and decided to be more precise.... and yes, if only the world was swimming in feminist electro-clash!
