I like it alot.

T-Rex is the only notable reference point

raisa raisa is on my top 5 songs of the year list (well if I actually had such a list it would be so)

Yeah, harnk is right. Very 70's influenced (but not riped off). Some very catchy songs. Different from most other e6 stuff (it "rocks" harder for one), but very worth the price of admission.

so, is everyone taking the if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all approach? not much talk around here about the album. i like it but i was hoping for kumquat mae part two or an album full of rabbit ears. i do like it but was expecting to be blown away right away. but i can tell it's just one of those albums that with enough listens will sneak up on me when i least expect it.

It's a bit uneven as an album, but each songs pretty much rocks. I like it.

I think it rocks. Listen to it on your head phones and gain a new appreciation for the songs. It is also great music to see live!!

i find the record really refreshing, i mean with bp's involvement with elf power and of montreal one might think it would be a second rate version of the both, but it's not, it's all bryan, which is good. it's rockin, and all over the place. the record takes shape live though. i've spun it about 5 times at the music museum and it's growing better with each listen, the only complaint is the delia's catalog looking artwork on the cover. the music and art don't mix that well, but that's the only thing that i can say that's bad. so if artwork is a problem then that's small.
