So I've heard Julian and John Cameron Mitchell are working on a screenplay together, will Julian be doing music for the film as well? That would be delicious.

Did you read the NY Times article a few weeks back about John Cameron Mitchell's movie "Shortbus?" Apparently it's going to feature actors having real sex, but incorporated into a serious drama. My first thought was, "Is THIS what Julian's writing music for?"

I guess John Cameron Mitchell's having trouble raising money. At any rate, I can't wait for whatever Mitchell does next, as Hedwig was amazing.

Hmmm, no I remember reading an interview with Mitchell where he said the sex movie and the Julian movie were two seperate things. Last I checked, John and Julian wanted to write a kid's movie and they've been running through different plot ideas. Julian's working on the script for sure, I don't know about the music. That's why I asked.:)

Oh, good--I'd rather see a Music Tapes kids movie than a Music Tapes sex movie.
