Heya, cats and kittens! Just wanted to inform you all of a wee show I'll be hosting on Sunday, Sept. 12 at the Ultraodd Compound here in Athens. Some of your favorite E6 conspirators will be kicking out the acoustic jams "song swap" style, trying out new stuff, re-interpreting old favorites, etc. You'll get to hear tunes from the likes of members of Elf Power, late BP Helium, Marshmallow Coast, Of Montreal, Circulatory System, Visitations, Summer Hymns, and more! Stuff happens at 9:00 PM. Hope to see you there.

BTW, can you turn stuff from those little DV tapes into mpegs? like said, I taped the set at the Popfest, but I only have machinery that'll churn it out onto VHS.

If you taped this show, and soon post it on the internet, you would be awesome!! We couldn't make the six hour drive on a Sunday night, but I would really like to hear what this show sounded like.

most of the footage came out really bad, it was dark, and the sound is a bit hit and miss. we just got the camera, and the manual is as big as a damn phone book. in the future we'll be placing videos up for folks to see, but sad to say this one didn't come out for the most part. Mike

like said, I shot vid at the HHBTM popfest, but I've got it on those little DV cassettes, & VHS only. I don't have a way to make mpegs of it... anyone want to help?
