Three peaches

i havent had On Avery Island in months and when i got it and came across Three Peaches again i got really freaked out, since when i first listened to NMH it was b/c it was interesting and i liked it.
now that i get the metaphors i learned that its one of the most depressing songs in the world.
"There is no dream, so wake up" that puts a very icy chill in my spine. If any other band did it i would stay away
but as you know Neutral Milk Hotel is to sincere and beautiful and most of all infectious to stay away from!!
but have you noticed these dark metaphors in this song its freakin me out and im a freak myself so it obviously is very distrubing

I noticed the thing about cutting yourself(carving holiday signs into yourself). Its probably Neutral Milk Hotels most depressing song lyrically, possibly only behind Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2. I like both though of course.
