but is anyone else a little disappointed with the sunshine fix? when I first heard the olivia tremor control broke up, of course, I was heart broken, but was was more than pleasantly surprised when I bought the "future history of.." EP. I thought Last Night I had a Dream was pretty neat and Future history and irrelevance of time also sort of far out and catchy.

Later I bought the kindercore 50 CD and was also very impressed by the sound surrounds you and I think ordinary/extraordinary is on there too, but I'm not sure. regardless, both are good and promising and then I listen to age of the sun and I was terribly disappointed. There are some great moments on the album, but overall very disappointing to me. I also thought their live show was mediocre.

So I am a little hesitant to purchase the new LP. My expectations just haven't been met, maybe they were too high but if thats so, its only because the olivia tremor control were so good. I'm definately not trying to be a troll, but what do other people think?

The critics are panning it. I like it. It's not a forward thinking recording, but it has moments of blissful pop. I'm glad he's making these albums rather than doing nothing. I give it a 7.5 rating.
