Peculair Nose Called Train Director.
I bought Black Foliage the day it was released...never hearing OTC before...or anything about them.
The Gerbils "Are You Sleepy" was my first e6 album I think.

The first E6 song i think i heard was "Two headed boy." That said, i didnt think much of it, and about half a year later, i saw Beulah in concert opening for cake. I was so impressed, i bought "The Coast is never Clear" So, i guess the first song i heard that actually GOT ME INTO e6 was "Hello, Resolven."
In an even stranger turn of events, i think the first OTC song i heard was "I can smell the leaves." It didn't turn me on to them at all.
But, the copy of "Dusk at Cubist Castle" i found at Love Garden in Lawrence, Kansas sure did.

"The Opera House". Someone told me about OTC being like the Beatles, and I went and downloaded it. I didn't like it that much, though. I bought "Black Foliage" (Flydaddy o_O) on impulse a few months later and was blown away.

California Demise, Pt. 3, because I was generally downloading as much Elephant 6 stuff as I could find at the time, and it was the only OTC song on Kazaa, for some reason. That song alone lead me to buy Dusk at Cubist Castle, which, when I finally got into it (which took about a month or so), completely blew my mind.
The first Elephant 6 song I heard was Signal in the Sky by the Apples, as I was on a Powerpuff Girls kick about 3 years ago, and that was the only song I could find. After a while, I started to like more and more Elephant 6 bands, starting with Beulah, I think...
But that's virtually ancient history now...

My first experience with OTC came in the golden days of AudioGalaxy (pause moment of silence and recollection). For a long time, my only OTC tracks were Define a Transparent Dream, California Demise Pt. 3, and [/i]A New Day[/i] ... it was all I could find and I wasn't willing to pay the $80 or whatever the discs cost on Amazon. When Cloud finally released them, though, I bought them straight off, in order. But I bought Circulatory System first so not totallyin order.
