ever notice the word consists of two words consisting of the two words
Marsh and Mellow
this leads me to believe that marshemellows are made in Mellow Marshes or by a Mellow man named Marsha.

i heard a lable on a pack of marshmallows say "made in a mellow marsh by "mr. mellow marsha"
