i swear i heard a snippet of "kissing in the grass" on last night's (4/9) 'fraternity life' on mtv (yes- i admit to watching that trash- i find it very funny) . anyone else catch this? ...or maybe i'm just losing my mind

hi folks. i just registered and wanted to say hello. i can't believe an of montreal song was on mtv, on a frat life show at that. first rolling stones, then mtv. i'm really happy they are making more money now, but i can't shake the idea that the mtv audience is picking up on them. somehow i don't think any of them would have understood or even enjoyed seeing a pollinaire rave. i'm definitely not a music snob, just a concerned fan. i just hope of montreal isn't the next dashboard confessional. any thoughts?

Yeah, I'm with oblio.. I don't think there is anything to worry about...
Not to mention MTV doesn't play music anymore anyway.... But if a few people enjoyed a snippet and fall in love with Of Montreal, more power to 'em...
As long as I still get to see my favorite band in a small venue, that is fine by me!

one time I was at my girlfriend's house and she was watching road rules real world challenge and icaught a snipet of Barcelona-bugs. It was weird. I don't think we have to worry.

If of montreal does become a huge mega-popular band and the world suddenly gets its head out of its ass and realizes that american idol is scuzzy armpit residue, and "mtv" has lost its right to have its "m" (etc etc etc)- then all i wish for is that they come to calgary and play me a nice tiny venued show and make my life complete before that happens. then they can find the end of a rainbow and a pot of gold and spend the rest of their lives frolicking nude in feilds of daisies and raiding classy hotel mini-bars. :D

look at all those indie bands on gap commercials. theyre still indie bands playing small shows. anyways, a snippet of a song that only a few people could possibly recognize isnt going to launch some sort of media backed of montreal blitzkrieg.
