I wish they'd play London, or even England, as I missed them in January as I had an exam the next morning and couldn't go. And I'm actually dying to see them.
Still, seeing Ladybug Transistor next week - it's not all bad :P

Wooo yeah- bring on the Green!
If they do come back over to the UK in the not too distant future do you think they'll be doing any north west shows (Manchester/Liverpool etc)?
It's just I was speaking to Mr Jeff Baron after the Ladybugs show in Manchester on Thursday and he told me that I was one of like, 2 or 3 people who were there to just see the Ladybugs and not Richmond Fontaine!
Something tells me the Green/Ladybugs aren't that well known 'oop north'!

I missed the Ladybugs on Friday - I couldn't get out of work. I was so sad! How was it?

Oooh, not sure if you were asking me but I'll reply anyway!
The gig on Thursday was great- very intimate.
They played loads from the last album, "Perfect For Shattering", "Wooden Bars" and "Nico Norte" from Argyle Heir and ended with "Like A Summer Rain".
Shame Julia got her passport nicked though.
Bleedin' scallies!

I really couldn't say if the Essex Green will make it to the north west next time. The problem we have is making such a trip pay its way. I posted something about this sometime ago but basically the way the UK system works it's really hard to break-even on a tour. Both the Essex Green and Ladybugs can make pretty good money in places like Sweden so they prefer to go there.
I'd love them to do more in the UK and I'll do what I can to persuade them on the future trips. Alternatively, why not book a cheap flight on Ryanair and go to Scandinavia to see 'em? I'm going to the EG show in Oslo next week - it only cost 99p each way :D. I bet yr train fare to Manchester cost more than that!
The Ladybug shows went really well on this tour, even if they met with misfortune at several points on the trip. I saw the London and Brighton shows - lots of people at both and they were especially good in London. They played a similar selection of songs to the show prehistoric descibed, but 'Oceans in the Hall' was in there too...

Yeah- I know what you mean, Steven. Fingers crossed eh? Failing that yeah- I'll have to go to Scandinavia! Hehehehehe.
Thanks for the info.
The 'bugs discussed doing "Oceans In The Hall" in Manchester but played "These Days In Flames" instead. Would've been nice to hear that one.
