I was watching fraternity life on MTV, yes I know it's lame, and they played the opening of Kissing in the Grass on the show. I couldn't believe it. I personally think it's great, they are amazing and everyone should hear Of Montreal. Other thoughts or feelings?

I'm guessing this is a reality tv show right? So was the song being played by someone on the show or by the actual show's music director? I hope that makes sense.

I used to be a big fan of the Real World when it first started, and they always played GOOD music on there. I always wondered what the deal with that was.. Someone at MTV likes good music, they just have to play Nelly when the 20 minutes of music videos come on there, I suppose...

the song played for a couple of seconds as the background music- not by one of the frat guys on the show. it was an instrumental part of the song. and- no, no one was actually "kissing in the grass" on the show.
