I'm so much looking forward to the Ladybug show in Lund! I went to the Finishing School show in Malmö the other night (it was even more perfectly up-beat popish than I had expected) so now my expectations are really high, the new Ladybug album just keeps getting better the more i listen to it...

The last few weeks has been incredible, first Beulah, then Finishing School and now the Ladybugs almost in walking distance...

Yep, I've seen them a few times before but this show was the best one so far I think... By now they got such a fantastic collection of songs to choose from, they could go on for hours with nothing but smash-hits! The new songs came out great live too...

(By the way, I spent all my beer-money on a new ladybug T-shirt at the show, but it was worth beeing dried up just to sit here right now enjoying my wonderful new T-shirt. So cute & comfy!)

I was about to see the band in Tilburg this very evening until I heard it was cancelled :(
Not sure if this has any effects on the rest of the tour.

I'm so sorry you missed them. Their itinerary for Primavera was amended so they needed to leave The Netherlands sooner than originally anticipated to get there in time. We've also had to pull Monday's London show but fortunately there was another London planned anyway. The full remaining dates are:

Saturday 29th May - Barcelona, Primavera Sound Festival
Tuesday 1st June - Brighton, Hanbury Ballroom
Wednesday 2nd - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Thursday 3rd - Manchester, Bierkeller
Friday 4th - London, Water Rats Theatre
Saturday 5th - Paris, Guingette Pirate

Hey Mr Track & Field

I'm going to see the 'bugs in Manchester on Thursday. Do you have any idea what time the band will be hitting the stage, roughly? The tickets say doors are open 8pm 'til 2am and seeing as the last train home's at 11pm I'd hate to find out upon my arrival that they don't go onstage until late.

Eeeeeek.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hiya... i'm reliably informed the ladybugs will be on stage at 9.30pm on thursday night. richmond fontaine are actually headlining that show so anyone going to see them will be in for a late night...

the venue is just down from piccadilly railway station on the right hand side so it should be pretty easy to locate. and easy to get back for yr train. hope you enjoy it!
