San Diego show

I saw the Essex Green last night here in San Diego. This is the first time I've ever heard them and I was really happy I went. Everything they played was really beautiful... very very well crafted songs! The only thing I was hoping for was that they would play them longer... maybe it's because this was the first time I heard them and it took me half the song to really get into the feel of it. I was hoping they would loosen it up a bit and jam out on the songs. But regardless it was great to see them and the music was beautiful!

they played for probably about an hour. i had read that other post about them only playing 30 minutes, so it exceeded expectations!

sorry... but this was the first time i've ever heard Essex Green and i don't know any of there songs... i know they played both songs that are available on their website: 'The Late Great Cassiopia' and 'Our Lady in Havana'.
