Well, now that some of us have the White Flag album on CD, cassette, and downloaded it from emusic one day because we wanted to listen to it that afternoon but had left the CD at home, the format completists must know: will there be a vinyl record?

I like the vinyl records.

Laura just sent the master off to united today. Expect vinyl in a couple months.

Wonderful news, though at some point I'm gonna have to convince you guys to stop using United! :)

Though, admittedly, that was probably too many exclamation points for that message.

i've been wondering this for some time: what is at all appealing about tapes? the sound sucks and they get destroyed really easily. when you say tapes are you referring to something other than a cassette?

It's a cassette. Some of them are just cool to have because they're limited release, hand made, and usually dirt cheap.

cheap, easy to reproduce, and the elephant 6 cassette legacy. i fully support it.

okay, well it's coming from united but it's also 150 gram, which is pretty cool. All the vinyl I've done in the past was flimsy as a paper plate.
