where is everyone?

hi.. i'm new to this forum... i have only been listening to the minders for a few months.. but they are becoming one of my favorite bands... i really love their music a lot. i found a 7" in my favorite record store recently... Live at KSPU... it's so good!

how did you guys get interested in their music? i was introduced to them through elliott's cover of hooray for tuesday.

along with all other elephant 6 bands, i was turned on to the minders through my good friends floating norman, channelfan, and my other friend grant who has since left my reach to a far away land called new york city. :( .......sad really. but i love the minders! one of my favs.

i missed out on the elephant 6 bands i guess... i mean i had heard of apples in stereo.... and i like them.. but it was really the last couple of years that i was introduced to them. i have friends that love beulah and olivia tremor control... and then through elliott i came to love the minders.

i guess i'd say my favorite of the elephant 6 are the minders, olivia tremor control and essex green...

I got into The Minders after seeing them live in Portland last year. I mean I had heard a few songs before that but never an entire album. They are definitely one of my favorite bands now and they just happen to be very nice people as well, so that's cool.

and i take it you are on sweet addy? ;) and i'm assuming you live in portland... but i can't figure out who you are...

i want to see this band in concert! i sent martyn and rebecca an email last week telling them they have to tour the east coast... baltimore please! :)
