The twelve sided tape club is about diy music/noise because you love it with all of your heart. I am doing it so people can set up a positve network of people who support each other and thier music/noise.

OK here's how it works! All you have to do to be a member is send me a song and 4 dollars for production costs. (tapes, shipping ect.) 4 should be more than fair because I dont sell the comps I just make them for you. Everyone sends in a song monthly and I put them together on a compilation and send them out to all the other tape club members. So you get a compilation with your self and about 10-12 (.....) other people. In the liner notes will be contact info for each contributor so if you like someones contribution you can get in touch with them and find out more. Or if someone likes your contribution they can get in touch with you.
It will be a good way to network with people who share in your passion for making music and noise. Set up shows with one another, arrange split releases, arrange tours, give recording advice, or just kind words of encouragement.
Oh...If you dont get anything sent in for that months compilation its no biggie. We will get you on the next issue. We know recording takes time. (OH DO WE EVER!) You cant just crank em out! So...no deadlines or anything just be on an issue when you can OK?
Oh...please send only one song in at a time. You are more than welcome to be on as many issues as you want but just send them one at a time so I dont have to spend all day fast forwarding through all these tapes with letters saying, "I want the third song on the second side on the comp." Dont get me wrong. I want to hear everything you have made. I just have to pace myself thats all! (CD and Vinyl are exempt from this rule.)
For contact info to be published in the liner notes you can have what ever you want (e-mail, web page, mailing address, phone #) just what ever you want people to know. You can put just a po box if you want or if you want you dont have to have any contact info in the tape at all. But for my own personal mailing list I need an address to sent the comp to. (-chris' words)
It would be neat if when you get the comp you spread it as far as it will go. Make copies give them to everyone ,all your friends, other bands, your mom, just everyone. Let the tape club revolution be heard! But do make copies of the liner notes that go with it. So people know what it is and they can find out more about the people on it. And I dont want this to be only an internet users club. There is so many briliant people out there who never even touch a computer so... tell people outside of the computer world about the tape club so they too can be a part of the revolution. So I guess that's all I have to say right now. so stay tuned and send me your music/noise! I cant wiat to hear it!

If you really just wanna jump on this without further contact, just email hastycolours@hotmail.com and you can get an address from me. If you wanna discuss it further, then we will converse about it.
