Hello. I bought Her Wallpaper Reverie a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I was told Tone Soul Eveolution was the Apples shining moment, so I bought it. I did not think much of it. Still, I can't help but think that they have done something better than this and that I should not write them off. I was tempted to buy the Science Fair collection but I backed out at the last minute? Tell me what you think is good Apples? Also, is the Marbles album worth seeking out? The album cover looks enticing.
Thanks.

Her Wallpaper Reverie is a unique creature as far as Apples records go. There's really no other like it. Velocity of Sound is a lot of poptastic rockin' fun. Don't expect anything groudbreaking, though; it's pretty straightforward. Discovery of a World Inside the Moone has the same energy with a little more diversity in the sound and instrumentation. Marbles and Fun Trick Noisemaker are good, but if you didn't like Tone Soul Evolution, you probably won't care for those either. I'd avoid Science Faire. It's mostly for those who are already fans.
I agree with half-handed Fun Trick kicks slick dicks in their wickety wick wicks! Hick.

A Discovery of a World Inside the Moone, of course.

Don't be afraid of Science Faire. Hands down their best release in my opinion. the production might put you off at first, but the songs are incredible. I love that record.
As far as proper LPs, Fun Trick Noisemaker is their best album. Oh yeah.

Harnk, I'm telling you, if you don't like Tone Soul Evolution, you're not going to like Fun Trick Noisemaker much better. Give Discovery of a Wolrd Inside the Moone a shot instead. I think it might be more up your alley.

Yeah? Tone Soul, for me, seemed all too polished with very little substance...I'll check out Discovery of a World Inside a Moone if you insist it's good.
I still rate Her Wallpaper Reverie as one of my fave E6 releases:D

That's not a good rule of thumb kartoonz. Tone Soul Evolution is my second least favorite Apples record, while Fun Trick Noisemaker is my favorite full-length.

I can understand what you're saying. I just meant they have a similar sound, and Discovery of a World Inside the Moone is different, so he should give that a try. I'm trying to hear these albums from the ears of a newcomer to the Apples.
