Hey everyone.

I'm new to Beulah- can anyone recommend a cool starting point to demonstrate the aural wonders that this band has to offer?

Thanks

the coast is never clear, hands down. heartstrings is okay, it has some downright terrible songs, though. also, the coast is never clear, sonically, is the best sounding album they've made.

They are an easy band to assimilate to. Buy whatever you can find. I do however think their latest effort is entirely fuc*able. Good stuff.

I found The Coast is Never Clear pretty generic, but When Your Heartstrings Break is one of those shiny mantlepiece e6 classic albums.

Heartstrings. It's always best to follow a band through their albums in chronological order, so you can see how they have progressed. Listening to heartstings first will give you appreciation for Coast that you wouldnt have otherwise, and listening to coast before Yoko does the same thing.

i think "Handsome Western States" and "the Coast is Never Clear" are my personal favorites.

i never got into "When Your Heartstrings Break." i should listen to it more.

as well as "Yoko."
