I do. I just got done with my spring planting yesterday. Tired. I picked the first of the cherries from the orchard today.
Next year, i want to plan my garden better so that I don't have such a big gap between the winter and summer garden. All I have left to eat till June or so is chard and onions!

well done, eggcup! this year i'm really excited about my plot. i've got three vegetables growing together that the natives called the three sisters. it's corn, beans, and pumpkins. the beans grow up the corn stalks and the pumpkins shade the weeds out. plus they taste really good together. i've also got two massive grape vines, tomatoes, basil, asparagus (ate some last night, yum!), lettuces, cucumbers, chard, strawberries, raspberries, salmon berries, gooseberries, and i've been cultivating chocholate mint and lemon balm for the last four years. lots of stuff, but it's something i've kind of done my whole life since i was a kid. my strawberries i'm especially proud of. they are usually the biggest and most plentiful in the garden because i have the secret inside scoop of how to grow them. here in bc, it's a pretty cool climate, so the trick is to make the soil really hot. i've built up concrete cinderblocks on bricks and stuffed them with rich soil and have the strawberries spreading throughout the cinderblocks. when the sun hits them, they warm up really well and keep everything nice and hot.
this is a long post, but that's okay because, hey, it's the calvin, don't jump forum! yeehaw!
i really want to know about everybody's gardens... this spring feels really exciting to me, moreso than other years that i remember.
